The temple owns its own team of percussionists led by vibrant and enthusiastic youth. The team conducts programmes during the special occasions and in other temples in the premises.

The team, who can skilfully present Panchaari, Pandi, Cheru Panchaari, Chempada etc. is really an asset for the temple. To add harmony and rhythm for the orchestra, the team includes almost 150 members including those who are trained in playing trumpets and pipe. It was Sree Narayanan Nair who had started to give training for the youth in drums, and next generation was led by Sree Vayalil Chandran, Uppalakkal Kunjhamman and T.P. Balan. Vayalil Kumaran, Vayalil Govindan, Vayalil Ramotti and Vayalil Bhaskaran are the real maestros who could make wonders in Edanthala and Valanthala. Koyilandi Payattu Valappil Sree Balan Gurukkal is giving training for the present generation. Training for trumpet and Pipe is being given by Sree Kanjilasseri Padmanabhan and Sree Aravindan respectively. At present the team of temple percussionists is led by Vayalil. Ajeesh, The duty of decorating the temple premises during the time of festivals is also under taken by the team.
